Ms. Edwina Mosby is an eclectic, well-versed, and innovative educator. After graduating in the top 10% of her high school graduating class, she continued her education at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and graduated with honors in 2001; she has a Bachelor of Arts in English Liberal Arts with a minor in Psychology.

 

Edwina later received her Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Health Services followed by a Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing with a concentration in Creative Non-Fiction Writing. She is currently completing her dissertation in Higher Education with a concentration in Faculty Leadership. Her research focus is on the long-term impacts of grade inflation amongst U.S. college graduates. Edwina has worked as an Instructor of English and/or Rhetoric and Writing since 2004. This experience has been accrued at five institutions of higher education.

 

She has an extensive professional work portfolio, which includes careers in higher education, content editing/writing, and public speaking. Ms. Mosby is the owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Writing Evolution, PLLC, an e-commerce service that offers professional development, editing, and writing services to working adults and tutoring to students in grades 8-12. In 2014, she became a certified teaching consultant in with the National Writing Project.

 

In addition to the aforementioned, she is a member of several professional organizations: National Council of Teachers of English, Conference on College Composition and Communication, Arkansas Council of Women in Higher Education, Arkansas Philological Association, National Society of Leadership and Success, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities. Ms. Edwina Mosby is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, the largest predominately Black, Greek-lettered sorority of college-educated women.

 

Edwina and her only child, Eliot, live in the metropolitan area of Little Rock, Arkansas.
